When I was a kid, I always enjoyed going to my mom’s real estate showings or when she would go look at homes.

Once, I got to watch her go through a new home during a walk through with the builder and see her catch all of the blemishes around the new build to protect her clients — much to the chagrin of the the builders. It seemed like it took hours for the inspection to happen. At the end, there were post it notes all over the new cookie-cutter house and the builder and their contractor agreed to fix everything.

I found CyFy on Instagram and thought his posts really highlight the importance of buyers knowing what rights they have before they close on their new homes. Cy shares horror stories from new homeowners who listen to builders and end up getting screwed.
